Jahd Khalil is an award-winning radio producer and journalist based in Richmond, VA. He is a regular contributor to Virginia Public Radio and contributes to NPR. Previously he was an 11th Hour Food and Farming Fellow with The UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, The GroundTruth Project's Middle East Fellow and a grantee with The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. Before that, he was an editor of the English weekly Egypt Independent and a co-founder of the independent website Mada Masr.
