Jahd Khalil is a freelance journalist and radio producer. Previously he was an 11th Hour Food and Farming Fellow with The UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, The GroundTruth Project's Middle East Fellow and a grantee with The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. Before that, he was an editor of the English weekly Egypt Independent and a co-founder of the independent website Mada Masr.
Jahd is currently based in Richmond, Virginia. From there and from his previous base in Cairo, Egypt, he has reported on business, culture, politics, sports, and technology politics. You can see some his work here and access a high resolution headshot here.
